Dental Checkups

Our exams identify cavities and other issues, including an oral cancer screening. Hygienist cleanings remove tartar and stains to prevent decay. Following AAPD guidelines, Dr. Mahale recommends checkups every six months or more frequently for multiple cavities or orthodontic concerns.

We recommended that children have their first dental visit with us by their first birthday or when their first tooth appears, whichever comes first.

Children should have dental checkups every six months to monitor their oral health and address any potential issues early.

During a dental exam, our team will examine the child’s teeth and gums, check for cavities, and assess the development of their bite. They may also provide a gentle cleaning and fluoride treatment.
