Intra Oral Camera

“This past visit I saw Dr. Mahale. This was the first time I have seen her. She had a great bed side manner, was gentle, nice and very thorough. “

Intra-Oral Camera

An intra-oral camera is an incredibly remarkable device that allows us to see inside of your mouth better than with the naked eye. This camera is incredibly magnified, allowing us to see cracks, areas of decay and issues with restorations that might go unnoticed with a routine exam. Along with allowing us to see inside the mouth more precisely, we allow you to see what we’re seeing using this camera. You’ll get an in-depth view of your teeth and gums to see exactly what condition they’re in and the treatment that may be needed.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays aren’t just easier on sensitive gum tissue, but they allow us to get an image within seconds of the x-ray being taken. Dental x-rays of the past were large, bulky and required a darkroom in order to process the images themselves. With newer technology, many offices are now using digital x-rays to take images of their patients’ teeth and mouths. The device used is much smaller, so it’s ideal for patients with gag reflexes or who have sensitive gums. The image is taken within seconds of the x-ray machine being used and it will be transposed directly onto our computer for easy viewing. These x-rays are an essential part in diagnosing and treating a range of dental conditions.
