Denise Pritchett - Office Manager/Sleep Champion
Currently residing in Union County, I began my career over 25 years ago as a DANB certified dental assistant in Camden County, NJ. I have found it to be a rewarding and fulfilling career. I have been at this practice since 2007 and my current role is that of Office manager and Sleep champion. I enjoy helping and assisting Dr. Mahale in striving to make sure all of our patients are receiving the quality service and attention they deserve. As Sleep champion, I am excited to aid in improving our patients sleep quality which in turn can improve their overall health.
When not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Judy - Scheduling Coordinator
With more than 20 years of experience in the fields of orthodontic, pediatric, and general dentistry, Judy is the ideal person for the role of our front office coordinator, a position she’s been thrilled to hold since 2007. Always happy to extend a genuine welcome to each of our patients, Judy thoroughly enjoys making everyone who walks through our doors feel comfortable and cared for. Her love and passion for helping people is evident in the way all of our patients feel from the moment they enter our practice. During her free time, Judy enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Meghan Shipes - Dental Assistant
Meghan joined our team in 2012. Overall, she is bringing more than 21 years of experience and a passion for helping people to our oral healthcare family. She earned her dental assisting II certification at CPCC and currently resides in Wesley Chapel She truly loves working with our wonderful team and finds real fulfillment in helping our patients keep their smiles healthy and beautiful. When Meghan isn't assisting our doctors in clinical procedures and making our patients feel welcome and comfortable, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and reading. While she has both dogs and cats, she is definitely a cat person - Ollie is her favorite!
Amy - Registered Dental Hygienist
Amy joined Strive Dental Studio in the fall of 2019 with 7 years of experience in the dental field. She has previously worked as a front desk coordinator, dental assistant and currently is one of our awesome dental hygienists. Educating and helping patients is a passion of hers. She strives to build relationships with each patient while ensuring that they have a great experience during their visits. when she is not in the office, you can find her in Waxhaw with her family. Together with her husband Taylor, Amy is raising an adorable little girl named Merritt. They love spending time outdoors, traveling and making memories.
Kelly - Patient Coordinator & Fill-in Dental Assistant
Kelly has worked in the dental field since 2012, and she joined our team in 2018. Kelly completed her basic dental assistant training chairside. She went on to complete advanced dental assistant training through the Charlotte Area Education Center. Whether she’s helping patients fit dental care into their schedules or making their experiences in the dental office more enjoyable, Kelly is an invaluable member of our team. Her warm and friendly manner make it easy for every patient to feel relaxed and right at home in our dental office. Originally from Norfolk, Kelly now lives in Monroe with her husband, Scott, and son, Easton. She enjoys playing softball, hunting, fishing, and watching football.
Lisa Helms - Dental Hygienist
I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 25 years working in both North and South Carolina. I graduated from CPCC in 1996 with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.
I am a very dedicated clinician to the Dental Health Care Profession and always give 100% to all of my wonderful patients. I love my career as a Dental Hygienist and providing quality patient care is very important and ensuring a positive dental experience for all my patients is top priority. I am very compassionate and strive to make all my patients feel comfortable and achieve a healthier smile. I am so thankful to be a part of a team that works so well together and provides a high level of care to all of our patients.
My husband Evan and I have been married for 27 years and have 2 amazing boys – Hunter (age 22) and Dylan (age 19). We have recently moved to Lancaster, SC (after living in Fort Mill, SC for 25 years) where we are building a new home and lifelong Dream Farm named “Silver Hill Farm”. Our 23 acre dream farm consists of 2 Labradoodles, 4 Horses, 2 Mini Horses, 4 Mini Donkeys, 5 Fainting Goats, 8 Chickens and 3 Bunnies. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with Family and Friends, spending time with all my wonderful farm animals, riding horses, traveling and camping in our RV, and Boating on our Pontoon Boat.

Dobby is Dr. Mahale’s 7-year-old son who is enthusiastic about creating an inviting and relaxing environment at Strive Dental. When he’s not hard at work, you can find him scarfing down peanut butter or chasing squirrels in his backyard. He loves belly rubs, snuggles, and giving high fives!
